Courtesan

Covered from head to toe is this well-dressed woman looking back at the viewer. Combs fill her hair, which signals her high ranked status as a courtesan. Each of her kimono layers is decorated with various floral motifs. Her black obi is adorned with floating clouds and compliments the black and yellow ensemble that is being balanced on her head. Above her is a little hand mirror acting as a window into an ocean view. Giant white sails and treetops take over the view into another landscape. On the right side contains various groupings of calligraphy.
